Established in 2012, we’ve grown from a commission-only bedroom operation to a fully self-sufficient business with a six-strong team. With a strong supplier base across the UK and Europe, we’re the perfect partner for businesses looking to procure top-quality frozen meats.

WHO DO WE SUPPLY?

MANUFACTURERS: Burger, Kebab, Sausage production to name a few key sectors
OFFAL – Items for human consumption and export.
PET FOOD MANUFACTURERS: Primarily makers of raw dog food according to the BARF diet
WHOLESALE CATERING : Primarily we serve them Lamb and Mutton items.

WHY BUY FROM US?

Its what we do… we spend most of our time developing new supply chains and new products, when we know our clients have the more important job of getting the end product perfect for there customers.
But won’t I pay more than buying direct? The answer really isnt so clean cut, of course there is an element of this but again its down to scale if you can imagine we may purchase 30t per week from some suppliers of a variety of goods which allows us to buy at better rates due our relationship.
We have more time to spend with out clients than most of our suppliers, this again is really down to man power. Our sales team will handle no more than 20 clients at a given point to allow time to build quality relationships that we hope last a lifetime.
We hold specifications and approvals for all our suppliers and products purchased.

QUALITY

DL Foods LTD uses strict approval procedures to allow us to trade new products, this involves 90% of our suppliers holding BRC, IFS or similar standard of meat production. We take traceability seriously and will be able to provide traces on products on request. We keep a tight circle and use our long term links to buy products we know are 100% what they should be.

We ourselves hold a Soil Association Organic Licence for the sale of these items.

LOGISTICS

Our business uses approved chilled and frozen distribution from some of the largest networks in the UK, we can deliver 5 days a week with 2 day notice subject to stock availability. We have regular collections in Hungary, Spain, France and Italy and throughout Europe.
